Foreign Minister meets Bahrain’s delegation participating in 77th UNGA session

New York, Sept. 17 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, visited today the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, on the occasion of the participation in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Minister met the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Jamal Faris Al-Rowaiei, members of the Kingdom of Bahrain's diplomatic mission, and the delegation participating in the work of the General Assembly.

The Minister conveyed greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the  Crown Prince and Prime Minister, , for the efforts undertaken by the diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad.

He praised the diplomatic work carried out by the Permanent Mission and all of its affiliates in strengthening the relations of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Nations and its various agencies.

He stressed the importance of efforts by all for effective participation in achieving the objectives of the foreign policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing them continued success.

They reviewed the agenda of the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly and high-level conferences, the work program, the bilateral meetings, and the joint ministerial meetings.
