Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): Secretary General and Deputy Chairperson of the Higher Education Council Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received Chairman of the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF), Baybars Altuntas, in the presence of President of Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organisation, Director of Bahrain Angel Investment Office, Ferial Nass.
Both sides discussed ways of boosting joint cooperation and angel investment opportunities in Bahrain.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa underlined keenness of the higher education establishments to update the academic programmes in tune with the new requirements, mainly in the business management field. She pointed out the importance of angel investment in creating promising investment opportunities.
The Chairman of WBAF pointed out that many international universities have added specialties and courses related to angel investment. He praised the efforts of the Higher Education Council to develop higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
