Bahrain Polytechnic holds board meeting

Manama, Jan. 23 (BNA):  Municipality and Agriculture Affairs Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak and Bahrain Polytechnic's Board of Trustees Chairman chaired its board meeting of 2023.

 

Bahrain Polytechnic CEO Dr. Ciarán Ó Catháin was present.

 

The board discussed the draft development of the new strategy to be implemented.

 

The meeting highlighted the recently held graduation ceremony of more than 400 students in the engineering and business field.

 

The chairman affirmed Bahrain’s continuous support to strengthening the educational system, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

 

He praised Bahrain Polytechnic’s interest to develop higher education and applied sciences in various universities and institutes in the Kingdom.

 

Al Mubarak thanked the board for their keenness to support the executive management of Bahrain Polytechnic, which include transferring the affiliation of the Bahrain Training Institute to Bahrain Polytechnic and raising the number of students to more than 6,000.

 

The university CEO reviewed the college’s adjectives for the year 2023 and stressed Bahrain Polytechnic’s aim to launch training initiatives and professional development in the Kingdom.
