Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): HM the King’s Special Representative, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received diplomats Khalil Al-Thawadi, Kareem Al-Shukr, Hamad Al-Amer, Ahmed Al-Haddad, Said Al-Fayhani, Ahmed Al-Dossari and Ali Al-Shuwaikh at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak welcomed the diplomats, and expressed thanks and appreciation to them for the efforts they had exerted while working at the Foreign Ministry, citing their outstanding representation of the kingdom at during their tenures at the Ministry or its external missions.
The diplomats expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak for receiving them, affirming their pride in working at the Foreign Ministry and serving the kingdom, in light of HH’s directives to them.
During the meeting, Ambassador Khalil Al-Thawadi, the Arab League’s Assistant Secretary-General for Arab National Security Sector, presented a copy of his book containing press articles.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak commended Ambassador Al-Thawadi’s patriotic efforts, diplomatic and media contributions and distinguished publications.
HM the King’s Special Representative was also presented with a copy of Ambassador Hamad Al-Amer’s book on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak commended Ambassador Al-Amer’s efforts in tackling local, GCC and international issues.
