Transportation Minister praises studies aimed at highlighting successful government practices

Manama, Aug. 17 (BNA): Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, Mohammed bin Thamer Al-Kaabi, has affirmed the importance of academic studies aimed at shedding light on the successful government practices and linking them to the achievements of ministries and government departments.


He was speaking while receiving here today researcher and Media Affairs Advisor at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister, Waleed Khalid Al-Shaikh, who presented him a copy of the thesis of the master’s degree he had obtained from the University of Bahrain, under the theme “Government Communication and Its Role in Highlighting Development Projects Included in the Government Action Plan 2019-2022”.


The minister commended the study and its outcomes, noting that its results showed that the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry is leading the way in using government communication and its tolls and mechanisms to highlight the development projects entrusted to it within the Government Action Plan, especially the new Passenger Terminal which was named as the world's best new airport at the Skytrax 2022 World Airport Awards held at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, France.


He wished Advisor Waleed Al-Shaikh continued success.


Al-Shaikh expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for the warm welcome, praising the support accorded to him by the Transportation Ministry while conducting his study, which, he said, contributed to its success.
