Manama, Mar. 8 (BNA): The Shura Council’s Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security, chaired by Yousef bin Ahmed Al Ghatam, strongly denounced the repeated terrorist attacks of Iran-backed Houthi militias targeting civilian and vital facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Referring to the recent attacks on the tanks of Ras Tanura Port and Aramco facilities, the committee reiterated the kingdom of Bahrain’s steadfast stance in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against all attempts targeting its sovereignty, security and stability. It stressed support to all measures taken by the kingdom to defend its land and interests. It noted that the recurrent terrorist attacks pose a clear threat to the life of civilians and aim to undermine the kingdom’s vibrant and growing economy.

Supporting the statement of Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry, the committee described the blatant terrorist attack as a transgression of international laws and a dangerous threat to energy supplies, navigation and global economy. It called on the international community to condemn the terrorist attacks which are threatening regional and international security and stability.
