Assistant Foreign Minister meets American Jewish Committee members

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri, met in his office at the Ministry's General Court, members of the American Jewish Committee.

During the meeting, the Assistant Foreign Minister welcomed the members of the American Jewish Committee, praising the strategic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America and their continuous progress and development in reflecting the extent of the two friendly countries' efforts to elevate the distinguished ties between them to high levels of cooperation and joint coordination on all levels, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness on strengthening these historical relations to meet the aspirations and hopes of the two friendly countries and their peoples.

The Assistant Foreign Minister stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain has become a model for openness, peaceful coexistence and religious freedom, reviewing in this regard, the tangible accomplishments and efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, such as the establishment of The King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Co-Existence and other humanitarian initiatives and achievements in order to advance all aspects of tolerance and coexistence between all religions cultures in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad, wishing the American Jewish Committee all the best.

Members of the American Jewish Committee expressed their great pride in meeting the Assistant Foreign Minister, noting the prominent role of the Kingdom of Bahrain in promoting the concept of religious freedom, peace and openness, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continuous peace and prosperity.

During the meeting, they also discussed a number of issues of common concern, and exchanged views on various regional and international issues.
