Ambassador to US meets Boston Police Commissioner

Boston, Sept. 21 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United States Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa met with Commissioner of Boston Police Michael Cox.

The ambassador congratulated the commissioner on his recent appointment, wishing him success in his new duties.

Shaikh Abdullah praised the solid relations and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, particularly in the fields of security cooperation and coordination in combating crimes in all its forms.

The cooperation has resulted into the signing of a memorandum of understanding focusing on the exchange of expertise in forensic evidence between the Ministry of Interior and the Boston Police, as well as best practices, providing training, capacity building and information exchanging.

Commissioner Cox expressed his thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Abdullah for his constant communication to enhance cooperation and wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
