Manama, Jan. 16 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Judge Ali Ahmed Al Ka’abi approved activating online system to receive complaints about the progress of court procedures regarding pending cases.

This came as part of implementing initiatives to enhance access to justice.

He indicated that all complaints that received will be transferred directly to SJC's Judicial Inspection Department to study it, take the necessary action, and respond to the applicants.

Al Ka'abi affirmed that launching this service works on developing communication mechanisms with litigants, in a way that contributes to ensuring the smooth functioning of courts and judicial work paths.

He explained that all complaints and observations will be studied to benefit from them in determining development priorities, performance efficiency and quality of work.
