Saudi King holds talks with Japanese premier

Riyadh, Jan.12 (BNA): The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a session of official talks with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and discussed prospects of cooperation.


Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing and developing them. They also reviewed aspects of cooperation in accordance with the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030.

They also reviewed cooperation in the fields of tourism, security of supplies, artificial intelligence and renewable energy. The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interests.


The session of talks was also attended by a number of princes as well as Saudi and Japanese ministries and officials. Abe earlier arrived in Riyadh yesterday evening on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
