Commander-in-Chief receives UK Ambassador

Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today received, at the BDF General Command, the UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond.

Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present.

The commander-in-chief lauded the distinguished long-standing relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, praising their steady progress across various fields.

Director of the Court of the BDF General Command, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, the British Military Attaché to Bahrain, Commander Paul Windsor, and a number of senior BDF officers also attended.
