Speaker receives Moroccan ambassador

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam stressed deep historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco and both countries’ keenness to promote pan-Arab work.


He also underlined keenness of the Councils of Representatives in both countries to foster cooperation between the two brotherly countries and enhance partnership and coordination in the international parliamentary gatherings.


Al Musallam was speaking as he received today Moroccan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Mustapha Benkhayi.


The Moroccan ambassador expressed most sincere thanks and appreciation for Bahrain’s supportive stances to Morocco and keenness on boosting bilateral relations. He also conveyed to the Speaker of the Council of Representatives the greetings of Speaker of Morocco’s House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami, stressing common keenness on boosting bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
