Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): The Ministry of Education has asserted continuous coordinated efforts with the Ministry of Health to ensure the health and safety of the students as well as the educational and administrative staff in public and private schools. It stressed keenness to implement the needed precautionary measures, especially after detecting the first case of monkeypox in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The ministry affirmed that protecting the health and safety of the students and the educational and administrative staff is a top priority, pointing out that the needed precautionary measures have been taken at schools as part of the proactive plans with the Ministry of Health to track down contacts and monitor any suspected case to receive the needed medical treatment.
The Ministry of Education asserted keenness to provide a secure educational environment in all schools, stressing readiness to deal with any health emergencies according to the protocols followed locally and internationally. It also pointed out the importance of social awareness in supporting the efforts to maintain the health and safety of the school community.
