HRH the Crown Prince extends condolences to the Sultan of Oman

Muscat, Jan. 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today arrived in the Sultanate of Oman to extend his condolences to the Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, at Al Alam Palace, following the passing of His Majesty the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said.
HRH the Crown Prince also extended condolences to senior members of the Sultanate’s royal family, noting that his thoughts and prayers are with them at this time. HRH the Crown Prince went on to wish Oman further growth and prosperity under the leadership of HM Sultan Haitham.
Later, HRH the Crown Prince recalled HM the late Sultan’s key role in bolstering Arab and Islamic cooperation internationally, and highlighted HM the late Sultan’s active support for Oman’s comprehensive development.
For his part, HM the Sultan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and the accompanying delegation for their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy.
HRH the Crown Prince was accompanied by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and a number of senior Bahrain government officials.
