Climate Affairs Special Envoy receives UNDP Resident Representative

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah, received in his office Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Firas Gharaibeh.

He praised the distinguished efforts of UNDP at the regional, Arab and international level, stressing keenness of SCE on promoting bilateral relations and cooperation.

The UNDP Resident Representative thanked Dr bin Dainah for the gracious welcome, lauding the great efforts of SCE in tackling environmental issues at the local, regional and international level. He also commended the good reputation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in protecting the environment and handling climate change.
