Oil Minister reviews cooperation with the U.S.

Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA): Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina received Ambassador of the United States of America to Bahrain Steven C. Bondy and Assistant Secretary for the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) Brad Crabtree.


The minister praised the historical relations between the two countries, and highlighted the efforts made to strengthen relations with various American oil companies with the aim of attracting more investments to take advantage of the promising opportunities in Bahrain.


The two sides reviewed oil and environmental programs and projects that achieve common goals.


The assistant secretary reviewed topics of common interests that contribute to strengthening the partnership between the two countries, wishing Bahrain all success in achieving its future aspirations within the framework of its comprehensive development plan.
